1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing or using the websites https://wecodeplatform.com, or any sub-domains and online services operated by WeCode ry (“WeCode,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our [Privacy Policy].

2. Who We Are

WeCode ry is a Finland-based not-for-profit association that provides IT education, mentorship, and community events in areas such as Cybersecurity, Web Development, and Data Science.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country if higher) and be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in order to use our Services.

4. Account Registration

  • You may need to create an account to access certain features (e.g., course enrolment, mentorship platforms).
  • You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. User Conduct

  • Permitted Use: Personal, non-commercial viewing and, where explicitly allowed, downloading of materials for educational purposes.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Services, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if your conduct harms other users or WeCode ry’s reputation.
Upon termination, Sections 6–12 of these Terms will survive.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Finland, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.

13. Changes to the Terms

WeCode ry reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised version with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
