WeCode Team Has a One‑Day Camp in Jämsä

JÄMSÄ, Finland — July 2025

Last weekend the WeCode team left their computers at home and spent one day together in the beautiful town of Jämsä, about one hour north of Tampere.

Seven engineers, designers and project leaders met at a small campsite next to the river. The goal was simple: relax, enjoy nature, and spend time with colleagues.

The day started with a tasty barbecue. The smell of grilled local sausages and fresh vegetables filled the air. People laughed, talked, and some children played football nearby.

After lunch the group sat under the pine trees for an informal talk. They spoke about new ideas in generative AI, cyber security, and the next management meeting that will happen later this quarter.

Chief Executive Officer Kadir Yapar said, “Good code comes from a happy and balanced team.” The team is already planning a longer trip for the autumn.
