Our Women’s Digital Skills Training Has Officially Started!

WeCode has officially launched its 4-week Digital Skills Training Program for Women, and the first session took place with high engagement and inspiring participation. This initiative is designed to support women in enhancing their digital competencies and boosting their confidence in both daily life and employment.
🧩 What the Training Covers
Over the course of four weeks, participants will dive into hands-on sessions covering:
• Basic Computer Skills: Understanding how computers work, creating and organizing documents, writing a CV, and applying for jobs effectively.
• Cloud Tools & Digital Communication: Learning to use platforms such as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, and online meeting tools like Zoom or Google Meet.
• Cybersecurity & Safe Internet Use: Gaining awareness of digital safety, safe banking practices, spotting scams, and keeping children protected online.
• Artificial Intelligence in Daily Life: Exploring the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT for writing, planning, translating, and simplifying everyday tasks.
The training is conducted in person and provides a supportive learning environment where women can ask questions, practice, and grow their digital confidence week by week.
🤝 A Community-Powered Effort
We are proud to organize this program with the support of the Espoo Municipality. We are also grateful to the Helsinki Municipality and Stadin Yhteisötalo, who have generously provided the training venue.
This initiative reflects WeCode’s mission to create inclusive opportunities for learning, growth, and empowerment through technology.
